Carthago Kreis Annual Meeting - October 2018
Once again Carthago Kreis has kindly invited members of Carthago Owners UK to join them at their Annual Meeting. Helmut and Brigitte Fiege, who now manage the German club, our old friends of ours and they will be delighted to welcome you to Leinefelde.
These events have been well supported by our members over past years and we are always made to feel very welcome and we have a great time.
Space for the event is limited to 130 Carthagos. Much of this has already been taken up by the German club members. However, there are spaces available at present and we would urge you to register promptly if you wish to join the event.
UK members do not have to make any advance payments but we are trusted to turn up if we say we intend to do so and we are expected to pay cash (euros) on arrival. The cost for the pitch and program (as below) is €115 per person = €230 per Carthago.

Invitation - Annual Meeting in Leinefelde
The 2018 Annual Meeting, linked to the Annual General Meeting, will be held from Wednesday, 3rd October to Sunday, 7th October 2018 in Leinefelde / Worbis.
Leinefelde-Worbis is a small town in the Thuringian district Eichsfeld and is located almost in the middle of Germany about 50 km south-east of the university city of Göttingen directly on the A38. The event takes place on all days in the Obereichsfeld Halle and this is within walking distance in a few minutes from the parking lots. Please contact us on arrival directly at the "Central Square, 37327 Leinefelde" (GPS: N51 ° 23'07.10 "E10 ° 19'43.53") there you will be met by Hans who will lead you to your pitch.

Wed 3rd October - Welcome!
Individual arrival from 11.00 clock to the central square in 37327 Leinefelde
An earlier arrival is, unfortunately, not possible, since the central square is not normally a motorhome pitch and it is only reserved for us from Wednesday. If you arrive earlier, please use the parking spaces in the vicinity such as Heiligenstadt, Göttingen or Duderstadt.
From 5.30 pm the Obereichsfeldhalle is open for us.
6.00 pm dinner together: Eichsfelder specialties
The evening is under the motto: Klönen, Schnacken, Ratschen, etc.
With a picture show we would like to remember the last nice joint meetings.
Thursday: 4th October
Bread service from about 7.30am.
At 11.00am we take buses into the Thuringian countryside. We visit the treetop path Schönstedt. It is the second longest with a length of approx. 550 m and the highest treetop path in Germany with a height of 44 m. It is for everyone to take part and those who prefer the elevator - that's also possible. On the way back we make a short detour to the castle, Scharfenstein. From here you have a beautiful view over the Eichsfeld and in good visibility even to Brocken in the Harz mountains. Again, there is the opportunity to for refreshments. The return to Leinefelde is planned for 16.30.
6.00 pm dinner together: Goulash with Thuringian Klös. Tonight, a DJ creates a mood and the dancing can begin.
Friday: 5th October
Bread service from 7.30am
At 11.00 am Carthago Kreis will hold their Annual General Meeting. For UK members, there is no official program and the rest of the day is free for everyone. Depending on the weather, various activities can be performed. The Bear Park in Worbis is easily accessible both by bike and by public transport and worth a visit. Further information you will receive on your arrival.

Saturday: 6th October
Bread service from 7.30am
From 11.00 am departure of the buses to the borderland museum in Teistungen Everyone can visit the museum on their own initiative and find out about the situation of the former GDR. The museum is attractive and informative.
From 12.00am continue to Duderstadt to the traditional apple and pear market. In the old half-timbered town this weekend is all about the apple. From determining the old varieties to the freshly pressed apple juice, everything is represented here. At many stalls you can treat yourself to culinary delights and all the shops are open. Time to stroll and eat.
From 15.00 clock the buses drive us back to the pitch to Leinefelde.

From 20:00 A Theater evening
The theater group of the Kolping family from Seulingen has spared no time and effort and enchanted us with a funny piece on the topic: "We go on vacation".
