This is a beautiful campsite in a spectacular part of southern England. There is so much to see and do in the area that you may well wish to spend more time at the site.
We have extended the Gathering to start with arrivals after 13:00 on the Tuesday and the usual departures on the Sunday. For those who cannot make all of the days, we will offer a Thursday to Sunday option.
We have reserved the Rally Field which has full electric hook-up. We shall be erecting a marquee in the Rally Field for use as a meeting area and the catering hall during our Gathering.
Thursday evening the bar in the marquee will be open from 6:30pm until 10:30pm, as it will be on Friday and Saturday evenings. The bar will be managed by a small local brewery who, we are told, brew some excellent beers. They will also stock, wine and soft drinks.
On the Friday, there will be a coach tour taking us to Corfe Castle. After a wander around and coffee we take the steam train from Corfe Castle to Swanage. Time to explore Swanage and sample the local fish and chips for lunch. The coaches will pick us up again and return us to the campsite via the Poole harbour chain ferry.
Friday evening there will be a cold buffet dinner, dessert and coffee served in the marquee.
On Saturday evening there will be a barbeque style dinner served with salads and followed by dessert and coffee. After dinner we shall be entertained by Dean Ager who sings a variety of songs from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.
Late Friday and Saturday we shall be joined by representatives from Carthago.
We are limited to 60 Carthagos for this event - so please book early to secure your place.
The AGM will be held in the marquee on the Sunday morning.
All members are welcome to the AGM on Sunday and visitor car parking is available on site.
PLEASE NOTE: The Rally Field must be clear of all motorhomes by 13:00 on Sunday.
Arrivals must be after 13:00 on the Tuesday unless you have made private arrangements with the campsite. The Rally Field cannot be occupied before 13:00 Tuesday.
If you wish to arrive earlier or leave later then you must make your own arrangements with the campsite and you will be located on a regular pitch.
Our club licence and insurance only covers for 5 days use of the rally field.
We shall be asking for settlement of the second payment during early April.
We look forward to seeing many old and new faces at the Gathering.
