Members of Carthago Owners UK are invited to join our sister club in Germany, Carthago Kreis for the annual meeting which will be held this year at the Carthago Factory in Aulendorf.
These Carthago Kreis meetings are always an enjoyable, social occasion and we are made to feel very welcome by the Carthago Kreis members, many of whom have become good friends over the years.
It is important to arrive and leave at the specified times as we are fitting in between the normal working hours of the Carthago factory. Earlier arrivals and later departures are not possible.
Arrivals: Thursday 29th September no earlier than 14:00
Departures: Monday 3rd October no later than 18:00
On arrival Carthago Owners UK must pay the fee for the meeting and you will be guided to your allocated pitch. It is vital that you let us know the length of your Carthago as space is at a premium.
The fee for the event is €92 per person (€184 per Carthago). This will include 5 tokens per person of €1.50 for drinks.
There will be electric hook up available but this will be restricted to 2.5 amps. Please do not attempt to use your heating on electric.
Carthago Kreis are expecting between 200 and 250 Carthagos to attend this event.
Will dog owners please ensure that bags are used and that no dog waste is left on the site.
Please note that the Carthago Service Centre and spare parts departments will be closed during our visit.
Itinerary
Thursday, 29th September
From 14:00h arrivals and briefings and guidance to designated parking spaces
There is no organised evening entertainment.
Friday, 30th September
Further arrivals during the day
18:00h Welcome meeting hosted by Carthago Kreis and representatives of Carthago GmbH in the Exhibition Hall.
19:00h Dinner (Roasted Pork from the BBQ with side dishes)
Please bring your dishes and cutlery.
Drinks are at cost.
Later - Heinz and Michael playing music for singing and dancing.
Saturday 1st October
From 7:00h bread service (2 rolls per person, a light and a dark bread).
10:00h Cartago Kreis hold their Annual General Meeting (not applicable to UK owners)
After the AGM tours of the Technical Workshops of Carthago
18:00h 4 course dinner, followed by music and dance with the band in 2013 known from Ellwangen.
At the request of many members of this band was hired for Saturday night.
Drinks are offered at cost price.
Sunday, 2nd October
From 7:30h bread service
From 10: 00h to 12: 30h program by the company Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH (plant tours / TWS)..
14: 00h There are cakes! Please bring your own dishes / utensils and beverages (coffee or tea).
18: 00h buffet dinner then music and dancing with Heinz and Michael.
Drinks as usual.
Crockery and cutlery for dinner buffet please bring.
Monday, 3rd October
7: 00h bread service
9: 00h to 11: 00h Bavarian breakfast buffet
Then it's time to clean up and say farewell.
