The East Midlands Motorhome & Campervan Show at Newark Showground continues to be one of the highlights of the show season. Its enduring popularity comes from a fantastic exhibition area, first-class live entertainment, and a highly regarded Advice Centre offering expert guidance and inspiration.

Whether you’re new to the hobby or a long-time enthusiast, it’s the perfect mid-season getaway packed with great deals, friendly faces, and plenty to explore.

Our camping fields cater for motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents with all pitches including four nights of entertainment. You may also choose to buy a ticket to our Saturday evening headline show to enjoy.

The Camper UK Summer Weekend will be held at their campsite near Lincoln.

3 top nights of entertainment are planned, along with plenty happening at our showroom! If you've ever been before then you know how special a Camper UK Open Weekend is, but for those who haven't, here's a little bit of what to expect:

Bookings to be made via Carthago Owners UK on this website. Courtesy mini buses will be laid on to transport you from the campsite to the Camper UK dealership in Lincoln.

The campsite is also located on a lovely flat cycle way which goes along an old railway line and alongside the Fossdyke navigation into the middle of Lincoln after about 8 miles.

Lincoln Castle is home to an original 1215 Magna Carta and the Castle walls have been renovated allowing you to walk around and view Lincoln. There is an all inclusive Castle and Cathedral Joint Ticket which includes a free return visit within 6 months.

Camper UK are a significant Carthago dealer and boast a brand new showroom, workshop and accessories shop. You may just find that bargain you were looking for!

Please be aware that this is a rally field and there is no electric hook up available.

If you have not visited the City of Lincoln before, then you have a treat in store. The Cathedral and the Castle are well worth a visit.

Dress as Your Idol! ✨

Step into the spotlight and dress as your favourite iconic character for our costume competition, whether you channel Wonder Woman, Maverick, Indiana Jones, or Sherlock Holmes, or Sandy and Danny! The choice is yours. Get creative, have fun, and get ready to steal the show!

Saddle up and dust off those boots for a full-on hoedown as Nicola Marie’s Shania Twain tribute brings the best of country to the stage. Expect toe-tapping classics, big singalong moments, plenty of yeehaws, and a whole lot of howdys as the marquee comes alive with country spirit.

Dress as a Cowboy or Cowgirl

Dig out those old shirts, boots, and hats, and get into the country spirit. Whether you go for modern country western, a classic cowboy look, a Yellowstone-inspired outfit, or a Lone Ranger-style legend-it’s your time to saddle up and show it off!

Bakewell Meet and AGM (09 Aug 2026)

Maurice Fuller has organised a 5-day meeting on the Bakewell Agricultural Showground Rally Field from Sunday 9th August to Friday 14th August.

The Club’s AGM will also be held during this meet.

The Rally Field is within easy walking distance to Bakewell Town Centre where there are numerous restaurants, coffee houses, pubs etc and public transport links to other towns in Derbyshire including Chatsworth, Castleton, Matlock, and Buxton. Situated adjacent to the Rally Field is the Farmers Feast Restaurant and this will be available on the Monday and the Thursday morning for a hearty full English Breakfast for those that so desire. There are also many cycle routes and walking routes available. All the organised events are dog friendly.

The Rally Field has Water, a Chemical Toilet Disposal point, and Waste Bins, and there will be a limited number of electric hook ups available.

Sunday 9th August - Arrive, pitch up and settle in with pizzas on site in the evening.

Monday 10th August – Bakewell Market and Farm Auctions. Farmers Feast Restaurant available for Breakfast etc.

Tuesday 11th August - Optional guided tour of Thornbridge Hall and gardens, a stately home just a few miles from Bakewell, easy cycle ride or there is public transport nearby.

Wednesday 12th August – Club AGM in the evening at the nearby Agricultural Business Centre.

Thursday 13th August - Bakewell Farm Auctions. Farmers Feast Restaurant available for Breakfast etc. Hog Roast on site in the evening.

Friday 14th August - Departures.

The expected cost for this event is £175 per couple, a deposit of £100 will be required

at the time of booking to secure a place.

Prague (30 Aug 2026)

Simon has organised a 5 day meeting from the 30th August to the 4th September 2026. This is at the Caravan Park Prague in the area of Smichov in Prague.

CARAVAN PARK PRAGUE

The site is situated on the tip of the Císařská louka island in the Vltava River close to the historic centre of Prague with excellent transport links.

For members over 65 years old there will be free public transport in the city.

We are looking at a day trip to the castle (the largest in Europe and a trip to the Orthodox cathedral to explore Op Anthropoid from WWII.

We’ll provide maps and advice on options.

The site has full facilities and EHU will be included.

The expected cost for this event is £300 per couple, a deposit of £150 will be required at the time of booking to secure a place.

Camper UK Fireworks Open Weekend

Thursday 29th October to Sunday 1st November 2026

Camper UK Leisure Park, Swinethorpe, Lincolnshire, NG23 7EE

The event will run from Thursday, October 29th to Sunday, November 1st. The weekend usually features a spectacular fireworks display, our renowned Hog Roast, and fantastic live entertainment with 3 themed nights but more details are to be confirmed soon.

The cost is £60 for a van with 2 people and £10 for each additional person.

If you are a current Phoenix club member the event is free.

Food and Drinks:

Each evening will feature delicious food and drinks available for purchase, with a complimentary hog roast on Saturday.
